Dr. Jason Weber is an executive leadership strategist, executive coach, and internationally recognized servant leadership scholar dedicated to developing leaders who create environments where people, teams, and organizations thrive.
Since 2009, Jason has cultivated extensive expertise in organizational leadership and development through a career spanning law enforcement, higher education, and state government. He currently serves as Vice Chancellor for Leader and Culture Development for the Texas Tech University System, where he leads system-wide leadership development, executive coaching, and culture initiatives across five universities and academic health institutions.
In recognition of his contributions to the field of servant leadership, Jason was inducted into the Robert K. Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership Hall of Fame as a Servant Leader Exemplar — one of the profession’s highest honors. This distinction reflects his lifelong commitment to advancing servant leadership through research, teaching, coaching, and practice.
Jason’s work centers on leadership development, team effectiveness, organizational culture, and servant leadership. Through his proprietary SLI Leadership System™, he partners with organizations to develop leaders who strengthen relationships, cultivate high-performing teams, and create cultures where individuals and organizations flourish. His philosophy is grounded in a simple but powerful belief: leadership is not defined by position — it is defined by the experience we create for others.
Known for his engaging, practical, and thought-provoking facilitation style, Jason creates learning experiences that challenge leaders to think differently, grow intentionally, and apply evidence-based leadership principles to real-world challenges. Whether coaching executives, facilitating leadership cohorts, or consulting with organizations, his focus remains the same: helping leaders become the kind of people others trust, respect, and choose to follow.
Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, a master of science in criminal justice leadership, and a doctor of education in organizational leadership with a research emphasis on servant leadership and team effectiveness. He is certified in Executive and Professional Coaching through The University of Texas at Dallas and is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
As the founder of SLI Coaching & Consulting, Jason continues to equip leaders around the world to Serve. Lead. Inspire.
